Job summary

First Federal Bank in Florida is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to evaluate creditworthiness of prospective and existing borrowers, analyzing financial statements, tax returns, and market conditions to support sound lending decisions.

You will prepare detailed memorandums, monitor credit risk, coordinate with loan teams and senior committees, and maintain organized documentation while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Credit Analyst, including experience analyzing commercial and CRE transactions.
• Experience performing financial statement analysis and preparing commercial credit presentations or memorandums required.
• Banking or financial institution experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate creditworthiness of borrowers using financial data and credit reports.
• Prepare detailed credit memorandums with risks and repayment capacity.
• Complete annual reviews of commercial relationships and renewals.
• Identify and coordinate risk rating changes and policy exceptions.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting credit.
• Coordinate loan packages for loan committee presentations.
• Provide guidance to loan officers on financial analysis and documentation.
• Work with lenders and staff to ensure timely credit decisions.
• Maintain organized credit analysis documentation per bank policy.
• Deliver exceptional service and practical credit solutions.
