Job summary

FirstBank Florida is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst I to support underwriting of CRE, multifamily and business loans. You will prepare credit analyses, review collateral and cash flow and present files to the committee.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and the ability to manage peak-time hours. Responsibilities include preparing CAMs, assessing credit risk and maintaining communication with lenders and customers throughout the loan process.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' banking/lending experience
• English/Spanish communication required
• Able to work flexible hours during peak time

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze CRE, multifamily and business loans to determine feasibility and credit risk
• Prepare/ review CAMs with credit analysis, collateral cash flow, DSCR, rent roll, leases, purchase contracts and conditions
• Present loan file to loan officer or Credit Committee and inform Senior Credit Officer of material risk factors
• Underwrite loan packages by evaluating financial statements, tax returns, appraisal reports and related documents
• Maintain ongoing communication with loan officers and customers to clarify status and resolve issues
• Assist Senior Credit Officer with loan policies, quality control and underwriting
