Job summary

Paylocity is actively expanding its legal team to support fast-paced commercial contracts and strategic partnerships across the US. This role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of agreements including services, vendor, and NDAs for a SaaS environment.

Reporting to Senior Counsel, you will manage the contract lifecycle, liaise with internal clients, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong risk controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, preferably SaaS/tech
• Bachelor’s degree; JD preferred but not required
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Desire to collaborate in a fast-paced technology environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare, redline, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts including service, vendor, SOWs, NDAs
• Negotiate high volume engagements with commercial counsel
• Manage intake and deal pipeline for timely responses to stakeholders
• Identify terms, carve-outs and risk positions to resolve negotiations
• Lead internal calls with clients on deal structure and issues
• Support contract lifecycle management and policy improvements
• Collaborate across stakeholders and coordinate internal and external advice
• Lead negotiations for low-complexity transactions
• Maintain strong partnerships with internal clients and legal team
