Canto is seeking its first in-house commercial counsel to build a modern legal function focused on strategic growth through contract excellence. You will design AI-enabled contracting processes, scale CLM usage, and partner with Sales, Finance, and executives to accelerate deal velocity while minimizing risk.

You will own end-to-end contracting for customer and vendor agreements, implement playbooks and templates, and drive value across global operations.

Qualificações

• JD and active bar membership required.
• 5–8 years of legal experience in SaaS/tech, in-house or mix of law firm and in‑house.
• Strong experience negotiating commercial SaaS agreements (MSAs, subscriptions, DPAs, NDAs).

Responsabilidades

• Drive commercial contracting & sales enablement.
• Negotiate and execute MSAs, subscription agreements, DPAs & NDAs.
• Enforce positions on non-standard terms and manage escalation paths.
• Train Sales to handle routine negotiations and reduce bottlenecks.
• Lead end-to-end contracting operations including CLM implementation.
