Job summary

Elevate Legal Talent seeks an experienced Commercial Counsel to support a high-volume contracting environment in the United States. The ideal candidate will lead negotiations, advise stakeholders on legal risk, and manage a broad portfolio of commercial agreements including MSAs, procurement, and SOWs.

You will collaborate with legal, procurement, sales, and business teams to standardize contracts, improve processes, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Bar license and good standing.
• 5 to 7 years of commercial contracting experience.
• Proven experience independently negotiating master sales agreements and procurement agreements.
• Strong background supporting technology, fintech, SaaS, or financial services organizations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on MSAs, procurement, SOWs, and licenses.
• Lead contract negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Provide guidance on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance.
• Manage a high volume of agreements with accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline contracting processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contract standardization.
