Job summary

FB Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements across its operating companies. You will own the contract playbook, supervise the contract management system, and coordinate with sales, procurement, and finance to protect margins and ensure compliance.

You will lead negotiations, manage post‑execution obligations, and oversee insurance documentation and renewals, reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive experience in commercial contracting as a transactional or corporate paralegal, contracts manager, or contract negotiator.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, legal studies, finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ownership of redlines and negotiations. Describe provisions negotiated, the position taken, and the outcome.
• Working command of commercial contract concepts, including indemnification, liability, warranties, insurance requirements, confidentiality, IP, force majeure, title and risk of loss, delivery and payment terms, termination and renewal, and dispute resolution.
• Experience in a supply chain intensive industry such as food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, distribution, or manufacturing.
• Sound commercial judgment and ability to hold positions under time pressure.
• Demonstrated ownership of a contract management system, including records discipline, obligation tracking, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive leadership and external counterparties.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficiency with contract management platforms (CobbleStone a plus), CRM and ERP systems, document mgmt, and e-signature tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe, including document comparison and redlining.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and redline commercial agreements including MSAs, supply/purchase, co-manufacturing, customer/vendor, and statements of work.
• Lead negotiations with customers and suppliers, driving execution without day‑to‑day supervision.
• Own positions on material terms such as pricing, duties, min volume, payment terms, liability, insurance, force majeure, and renewal rights.
• Establish and maintain the contract playbook and escalation thresholds.
• Develop and maintain templates and clause library reflecting current practice and risk tolerance.
• Escalate novel risk and disputes to CFO and outside counsel with recommended actions.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and operations to resolve commercial structure early in deals.
• Support finance on revenue recognition, lender reporting, audit requests, and diligence.
• Manage contract management system, approvals, routing, e-signature workflow and post‑execution obligations.
• Monitor renewals, expirations, and required actions; report on contract volume, status, and risk trends.
• Assist dispute, claim, and demand workstreams with contract records.
