American Companies is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on commercial projects. You will manage subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality to ensure work is completed on time and per plans.

You’ll collaborate with Project Managers, vendors, and trades, maintain daily reports, and help control costs while upholding safety and company standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
• Experience in commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple jobsite activities.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily commercial construction jobsite operations from start to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and field activities.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Monitor project schedules and milestones to keep work on track.
• Identify and resolve jobsite issues before they affect schedule, cost, or quality.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe jobsite.
• Perform quality control inspections to meet project specs.
• Verify subcontractor workmanship and progress.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, manpower, and site logistics.
• Communicate progress and issues with Project Managers.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
• Help control project costs by minimizing rework and delays.
• Ensure construction activities are completed according to plans, specifications, schedules, and company standards.
