Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in the St. Louis area. You will balance schedule, budget, and client relationships while leading a cross-functional team.

This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and Excel. A bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering is preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractor scopes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from award through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.
• Lead project planning, buyout, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project plans.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Monitor project financials, forecasts, and risk to ensure profitability.
• Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
