Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in St. Louis from preconstruction through closeout.

You will drive project goals, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining client satisfaction. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, 8+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, and strong skills in cost control, scheduling, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, scheduling, and construction operations.
• Proficiency with project management and cost forecasting software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution, including financial performance and delivery strategy.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing project teams.
• Oversee project cost controls, forecasting, pay applications, and profitability.
• Develop, track, and communicate detailed project schedules and milestones.
• Manage change orders, subcontractor buyouts, and contract execution.
• Identify project risks early and implement practical, client-focused solutions.
• Maintain site logistics and build plans to meet constructability goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, including OSHA compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, owners, and project partners.
• Support professional development of team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
