Jobot in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Project Manager to drive construction projects from inception to completion.

You will plan, coordinate, and execute work to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget, while leading diverse onsite teams and coordinating with inspectors, architects, and clients. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction project management, strong budgeting, negotiation, and risk management skills, plus experience with subcontractors and project supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry.
• Advanced knowledge of construction principles and practices.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work.
• Proven track record of leading successful project teams.
• Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Prepare detailed project contract status reports
• Partner with Project Superintendent in the development of a project site logistics plan
• Conduct risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
