Job summary

MEC General Contractors is seeking a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget control, scheduling, and collaboration with subcontractors and vendors.

Orlando-based, with a focus on balance and efficiency. The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years of PM experience, proficiency in Procore and MS Project, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience of 3–5+ years in commercial project management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Occasional travel to job sites.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication; problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages.
• Conduct project meetings and set milestones; prepare owners’ reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, etc.).
• Perform project scheduling; ensure quality control and logistics.
• Lead the project team to ensure cost effectiveness and stakeholder alignment.
• Interpret and review construction drawings.
• Lead the project closeout process.
• Prepare weekly project updates.
