Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager
You have the experience to deliver commercial buildings. Now imagine doing it where your judgment is valued, leadership is accessible, and people stay because the company invests in their careers. This is an opportunity for a hands-on Senior Project Manager to own the outcome—not simply track it.
The difference here
- A genuine seat at the table: work closely with leadership, contribute ideas and see decisions turn into action.
- The chance to own outcomes and strengthen client relationships—not just administer schedules.
- A close-knit, family-oriented workplace known for investing significantly in its people and helping them grow.
- An established business where long-serving team members demonstrate that people can build lasting careers.
- Broader exposure, professional development and a meaningful opportunity to help shape what comes next.
What success looks like
- Own commercial building projects from planning and buyout through construction, closeout and lasting client relationships.
- Lead schedules, budgets, costs, subcontractors, trade coordination, quality and accountability across the full project.
- Drive execution—not simply monitor milestones—and proactively solve problems before they become client problems.
- Partner in estimating: review estimates, assemble scopes, solicit and compare subcontractor bids, and connect preconstruction decisions to field delivery.
- Build trust with clients and trade partners, including thoughtful follow-through after project completion.
- Bring practical ideas to strengthen processes and help a growing business operate even better.
Your background
- At least 4–5 years of direct commercial building project management for a general contractor, with personal responsibility for the complete project across multiple trades.
- Approximately 4–5 years of meaningful involvement in commercial estimating; you need not have been the lead estimator, but must understand scopes, pricing and bid processes.
- Experience with commercial buildings such as manufacturing, multi-use facilities, metal buildings or pre-engineered metal buildings is especially relevant.
- Strong ownership, follow-through, judgment, communication and client-relationship skills.
- Able to work onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
What the opportunity offers
- Base salary: $100,000–$125,000; flexibility for an exceptional candidate (final offer based on experience).
- Annual performance bonus opportunity.
- Company SUV with fuel, insurance and maintenance covered; work-related expenses supported.
- Medical coverage with approximately 80% of premiums paid by the employer; family dental premiums covered.
- 401(k) with company match (eligibility/waiting period applies).
- Financial-advisor benefit and meaningful investment in continuing education, training and professional development.
- Potential relocation assistance for the right candidate.
