Job summary

ThinkingAhead, a 100% employee-owned contractor, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial projects in Portland, ME from preconstruction to closeout.

You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and teams, mentor junior PMs, and build strong owner-architect-engineer relationships; Procore and MS Project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• General Contractor experience required.
• Experience managing large projects ($10M–$75M+).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts and overall project financials.
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate project teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects and engineers.
• Mentor Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.

I'm partnering with a 100% employee-owned commercial general contractor that has built some of Maine's most recognizable projects. They're looking to add an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.

What They're Looking For

• Strong background in scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and contract administration
• Proven leadership and client relationship skills
• Experience with Procore, MS Project and commercial construction software preferred
