gpac LLC. is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager in the Atlanta area to lead ground-up commercial builds from preconstruction through closeout. The role emphasizes ownership, relationship-building, and turning plans into successful outcomes.

You will oversee financial, contractual, and scheduling aspects while partnering with field teams to maintain quality and safety. The position requires strong decision-making, communication, and a track record of delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects for a general contractor.
• Track record of managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client expectations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract documents, and project financials.
• Confidence to make decisions and know when to involve others.
• Clear communication and pride in delivering quality work.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up commercial projects from planning through turnover.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Coordinate with field leadership to ensure quality, safety, and on-time performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
• Build relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Identify risks early and drive practical mitigation strategies.
• Lead project meetings and keep stakeholders informed through closeout.
