Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Commercial Lines Senior Casualty Consultant. This role is fully remote for candidates located in our Central Region states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska.

Provides expert technical support to clients and USI’s Commercial Lines Account Management and Sales Executive teams to analyze, design, market, price and place risks. Makes fact-based recommendations to clients to solve their most complex insurance issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Commercial Lines with underwriting and technical insurance expertise.
• 3+ years of placement/marketing experience with large commercial accounts ($1M+ in annual premium).
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, coaching and development to Casualty Analytics team.
• Assess clients’ liabilities and alignment with policies; make recommendations for improvement.
• Support Sales Executives with data and proposals for prospective clients.
• Develop risk profiles using analytical models and resources.
• Negotiate underwriting terms and pricing with carrier partners on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with claims and risk control to develop loss control strategies.
• Take part in recruiting efforts and train new hires.
• Steer department policies on a national and local basis.
