Job summary

ISN Corporation in Bethesda, Maryland is looking for a Full-Time Commercial Building Engineer to independently operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the building’s MEP, HVAC, alarm, and security systems for a seven-story facility and grounds.

You will perform daily preventive maintenance, document activities, coordinate with vendors, and work with tenants to address service requests while ensuring safety and compliance with manufacturer recommendations and established facility procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as a Commercial Building Engineer.
• 5 years minimum of experience with programmable logic controllers.
• 5 years minimum of experience with mechanical systems.
• Must have Pneumatic HVAC systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the building’s MEP, HVAC, alarm, security, and related building systems for a seven‑story facility and surrounding grounds.
• Perform and document daily preventive maintenance per schedules, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Provide hands‑on maintenance and troubleshooting of the building’s pneumatic HVAC system, including thermostats, compressed-air controls, and dampers.
