Job summary

ISS Group is seeking a Building Engineer to operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems to ensure optimal building conditions. You will provide O&M support and participate in capacity planning, reporting, and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of technical experience, a technical degree, and strong knowledge of CMMS and work order control. Proficiency in MS Office is required, with good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related technical experience or equivalent training
• Graduation from a technical program at a community/regional college
• Experience in O&M and building engineering roles
• Knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors
• Ability to read and follow manuals, procedures, and regulations
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel)

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Monitor and control building systems to ensure optimal conditions
• Assist with capacity planning and reporting as needed
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for maintenance tasks
• Execute work orders using the computerized maintenance system
• Participate in safety and compliance activities and documentation
