Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking, or related field.
• Minimum 12+ years commercial lending or portfolio management experience; includes loan structuring and credit analysis responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of Federal and State lending regulations and bank policies relating to lending procedures.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in business development to grow loan/deposit portfolios for commercial clients in a SouthState metro market.
• Develop consultative relationships with prospects and clients to deliver banking solutions.
• Underwrite loan requests and ensure packages are complete for credit approval.
• Manage and service assigned loan portfolio; ensure documentation is complete.
• Collaborate with Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Wealth, and Retail teams.
• Price loans and deposits according to current pricing guidelines.
