HDVI is a modern commercial auto insurer seeking a Senior Liability Adjuster in Greenville, SC to work with Claims and Fleet Services on complex trucking liability claims from investigation to resolution.

You bring 5+ years in commercial auto claims, an active adjuster license, and strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills to guide reserves, settlements, and strategy while mentoring staff and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial auto liability claims experience.
• Active Adjuster License and ability to obtain state licenses.
• Strong knowledge of bodily injury, liability, and settlements.
• Experience with large-loss and litigated claims is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex auto liability claims from investigation to final resolution.
• Conduct coverage and liability investigations using police reports, medical records, and telematics data.
• Manage high-exposure claims, develop action plans, and coordinate reserves and settlements.
• Evaluate bodily injury damages, establish reserves, and monitor evolving claim exposure.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, while managing subrogation opportunities.
• Oversee litigation strategy, budgets, discovery, and expert coordination.
• Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to process improvements and best practices.
• Maintain thorough documentation and regulatory compliance throughout claims lifecycle.
