Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 5 years post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial insurance
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
• ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
• Strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills
• Understand market landscape and pricing dynamics
• Ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training to professional staff

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach Actuarial Analysts and Consultants across pricing and analytical projects.
• Oversee actuarial analyses, support business decision-making, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and external clients to communicate analytical insights and recommendations.
• Review work of Consultants and Analysts and oversee successful completion of projects within required timeframes.
• Manage and train actuarial staff within the department.
