Mobilitas, created by CSAA Insurance Group, seeks a Senior Commercial Actuarial Reserving Manager to lead reserving studies, mentor analysts, and partner with clients on complex risk analysis. This remote role supports multiple states and requires significant actuarial expertise across commercial lines.

Qualifications

• BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 6 years of post bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 4 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal or commercial lines insurance
• 1+ years of leadership experience
• 3+ years of Reserving experience ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
• Have a solid understanding of the market landscape
• Requires strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills
• Requires the ability to coach, mentor, evaluate and provide training, guidance and constructive feedback to professional staff

Responsibilities

• Leads monthly booking and quarterly reserve reviews.
• Effectively communicates reserve results and analysis to senior leaders.
• Drive innovation and process improvement efforts across the team.
• Provides effective challenge to leadership.
• Develops and maintains business relationships with internal and external clients, via project development.
• Reviews work of Analysts and oversees the successful completion of projects within the required time frame.
• Manages and trains Actuarial Analysts within the department.
• Manages Teams time and workload and recommends tradeoffs to leadership Has proactive discussions with key business partners to achieve business objectives with constrained human capital.
