Job summary

Alliant Energy Beloit facility seeks a T-Combined Cycle Operator II to perform operations, inspections and maintenance on the Combined Cycle generation site. Work includes control room operations, preventive maintenance, and supporting contractor activities to ensure reliability.

You will monitor gas/steam turbine performance, handle instrumentation, maintain logs, and participate in safety briefings while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years electrical, mechanical or instrument and control trades or two years Power Generation maintenance and/or operation experience preferred.
• Must be willing to travel and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs combined cycle operations, inspections, and maintenance in a safe, compliant manner.
• Operates in the control room and DCS under supervision or when qualified.
• Assists with safety briefings, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations with contractors.
• Maintains equipment logs and conducts preventive maintenance for reliability.
• Monitors water treatment systems, emissions controls, and instrumentation.
• Supports warehouse/inventory, data recording, and regulatory reporting as needed.
• Travel to other facilities may be required.
