Job summary

egelloC is seeking a highly organized College Admissions Strategist to guide students and families through the admissions journey. You will develop personalized strategies, manage timelines, and coordinate with editing and client success teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of admissions coaching, IEC experience preferred, deep UC/CSU knowledge, and comfort leading Zoom meetings and using modern tools. This fully remote role offers paid training, PTO, and health insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of college admissions coaching or counseling.
• Experience as IEC or school counselor preferred.
• Deep familiarity with UC/CSU systems and Top 100 universities.
• Ability to manage multiple students and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching and accountability for students and families.
• Develop strategic admissions plans aligned with student interests and target universities.
• Position UC and Common App stories strategically for maximum impact.
• Communicate progress and next steps with families clearly.
• Monitor milestones and intervene when needed to keep students on track.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Essay Editing and Client Success teams.
