Collections Specialist (41131)

Our client is a growing, employee-oriented company looking for an experience Collections professional to join their collaborative and drama free team! In this role you will manage a portfolio of customers, collaborate with the AR Manager and senior leadership, assist with process improvement, and join a fun company culture!

Responsibilities:

• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue invoices, and manage collection activities.
• Contact customers to resolve outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
• Analyze credit reports and financials to assess credit risk and recommend credit limits.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on collections performance and aging.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve collection strategies.
• Build positive client relationships and respond professionally to billing and payment inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in collections and credit analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
