Job summary

Brady Corporation, a global industrial technology leader, seeks a Collections Lead to manage the most complex customer accounts and drive timely collections. You will mentor peers, collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance, and leverage SAP/GetPaid to enforce established collections practices.

The role emphasizes process improvements, escalation management, and training new team members, reporting to the Collections Supervisor. Milwaukee headquarters with a broad global footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, Credit, or related financial function.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage customer and internal escalations.

Responsibilities

• Owns a portfolio of the department’s most complex, high-risk customer accounts and drives timely collection and resolution.
• Monitors collection performance metrics (past-due %, current %, DSO) and follow-up on promises to pay.
• Assists with workload prioritization and ensures coverage of customer portfolios.
• Leads onboarding and training of new Collections team members and communicates progress to supervisor.
• Collaborates with customers to identify root causes of non-payment and drives timely resolution.
