Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Collaboration Services Engineer to engineer, deploy, administer, and improve collaboration tech across the enterprise. You will own day-to-day Teams Rooms operations, support digital signage, and coordinate with IT, security, and vendors to ensure reliable experiences for executives and teams.

The role involves incident management, project delivery, and partner coordination, with occasional travel and after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, engineering, AV tech, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting collaboration technology, Microsoft 365, audiovisual systems, conference rooms, digital signage, or related IT services.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting Microsoft Teams meetings, Teams Rooms, room peripherals, displays, cameras, microphones, and connectivity issues.
• Experience with incident and request management, preferably using ServiceNow or a similar IT service-management platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for collaboration services and participate in incident, request, problem, change, and knowledge-management processes.
• Use ServiceNow and approved operational tools to document work, track incidents and requests, maintain asset and configuration information, and communicate status.
• Analyze recurring incidents and service-health data to identify root causes and improvements to standards or support models.
• Create and maintain runbooks, knowledge articles, and technical procedures.
