GovCIO is seeking a COBOL Programmer with 8+ years of experience to support the Automated Rural Addressf Management System (AMS) Edit Book Update process. The position will be fully remote within the United States and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a USPS Public Trust clearance.

The role involves coding, testing, and researching existing processes to meet project timelines while collaborating with PMs, SMEs, and multimedia specialists. Salary range USD 53,770.00 - 72,800.00 per year.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: USPS Public Trust ability to obtain and maintain.
• 8+ years experience with COBOL and DB2.
• Degree not required if 4 years of relevant experience is met.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and determine a strategic solution.
• Develop, test, and promote COBOL code to meet timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and SMEs on tasks and issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for interfaces and processes.
• Respond to incidents and participate in change management activities.
