Job summary

532 Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to sustain and modernize multiple programs within a rigorous mainframe environment.

This remote role requires residence in the United States with US citizenship or a Green Card and a background suitable for a Public Trust clearance. You will work with COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO and VSAM to deliver secure, reliable solutions for government-focused programs.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of professional Mainframe Developer experience.
• Proficiency with mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, TSO and VSAM.
• Ability to perform well in a highly rigorous, structured development environment.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, unit test, and debug enhancements to the health claims processing system.
• Participate as a key member of a persistent development team.
• Complete development to implement complex components within a legacy mainframe environment.
• Resolve defects and support operational stability.
• Design tests to validate changes prior to release and communicate with clients.
• Develop standards and best practices for maintenance solutions.
