Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead equipment projects ranging from $1M to $30M at North American sites. This role acts as the chief engineer for investment deployments, coordinating with R&D, safety, production, quality, and finance.

The Manager will be on-site as needed, but remote-focused in the mid-Atlantic region, with up to 50% travel for domestic and international supplier benchmarking.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering is required.
• Mechanical engineering background preferred.
• 10+ years as lead engineer and project manager managing $1M+ projects.

Responsibilities

• Understand project opportunities by engaging R&D, safety, production, quality, maintenance, commercial, and finance stakeholders.
• Develop project concepts using CAD and other tools.
• Develop equipment and system requirements and ensure they are included in agreements.
• Perform risk analyses and mitigate them.
• Develop project success metrics and align stakeholders to proposals.
• Use PM tools (Gantt, WBS, risk tracking) to manage progress.
• Attend factory acceptance tests.
• Supervise site prep, installation, and commissioning.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
