Mativ Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale equipment projects from procurement through commissioning at North American sites. The role requires a strong mechanical background and broad technical knowledge, acting as the chief engineer for investment deployments.

The ideal candidate will be on-site as needed but work remotely from a mid-Atlantic region, coordinating with R&D, safety, production, and finance to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Requires strong mechanical background and broad technical experience.
• Experience leading equipment projects from procurement to commissioning.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand project opportunities by engaging R&D, safety, production, quality, and finance stakeholders.
• Identify and validate economic solutions with suppliers and trades.
• Develop project concepts using CAD and other tools aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Create equipment and system requirements and ensure favorable contract terms.
• Perform risk analyses and actively mitigate them.
• Develop project success metrics and align stakeholders to proposals.
• Use PM tools (Gantt, WBS, risk tracking) to manage progress.
• Attend factory acceptance tests as needed.
• Supervise site prep, installation, and commissioning.
• Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally as required.
