Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies division seeks a senior technical service professional to drive coatings demonstrations, trials and customer training at sites across the USA. You will act as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams, translating coating needs into actionable product and process improvements.

The role requires a BS in a relevant field and 5–10+ years in coatings, with up to 60% travel, mainly in the USA.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• 5–10+ years in technical service, application, or product development in coatings.
• Willing to travel up to 60% in USA, occasionally MX/CAN.
• Hands-on experience with coating methods and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting for adhesion, drying, viscosity, and substrate compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead coatings-focused demonstrations, trials, troubleshooting, and training at customer sites.
• Serve as technical liaison between customers and internal teams to translate needs into requirements.
• Provide timely technical support, product recommendations, and problem solving.
• Plan and execute lab and pilot-scale requests for coating performance.
• Prepare reports summarizing trial results and recommendations.
• Engage with customers and industry networks to share coatings expertise.
• Lead safety compliance and ongoing professional development.
• Mentor others and participate in technical communities.
