Job summary

Intel Corporation’s Fab 62 in Chandler, AZ seeks a Coating Field Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee protective coating work on a high‑precision semiconductor facility, interfacing with engineering, construction, and quality teams to ensure schedule-driven execution.

You will ensure compliance with SSPC/AMPP standards, manage field plans, inspections, and turnover activities, and support commissioning readiness on a demanding construction program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–14 years of field construction experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of industrial protective coatings, tank linings, corrosion protection, and surface prep methods.
• Ability to interpret coating specs, drawings, and quality requirements; skilled in planning and turnover activities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret coating specifications and surface prep requirements.
• Coordinate coating scope with civil, structural, mechanical, and turnover activities.
• Ensure coatings are installed per specs and adhere to industry standards; support inspections and testing.
• Track progress, report forecasts, and manage risks to schedule and quality.
