Job summary
Intel Corporation's Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ seeks a Lead Instrumentation Field Engineer to provide technical leadership across instrumentation and controls for a high‑profile semiconductor facility. Responsibilities include coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, driving readiness planning, and delivering a safe, compliant, and high‑quality instrumentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total experience.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial instrumentation, analyzers, control systems, field communications, and installation practices.
- Experience leading instrumentation field engineering on large industrial, semiconductor, energy, mining, or related projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority for instrumentation construction activities.
- Lead instrumentation field engineering personnel and set technical standards and priorities.
- Coordinate instrumentation with electrical, mechanical, piping, controls, commissioning, and startup teams.
- Ensure instruments are installed, tested, documented, and turned over per project requirements.
- Drive readiness planning, feasibility reviews, and corrective actions to meet milestones.
- Mentor and develop instrumentation engineers and promote safety and technical excellence.
