Job summary

United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is hiring a Fire Protection Engineer to support testing, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of protection systems at a high-tech semiconductor fab site in Arizona.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of leading projects from planning through completion while coordinating with subcontractors and city inspectors. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
0-1+ years of experience in fire protection engineering design and project management.
Proficiency in hydraulic calculation software (AutoSPRINK, SprinkCAD), AutoCAD, and other design tools.
Knowledge of NFPA standards (NFPA 13, 14, 20, 72), IBC/IFC and related codes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Support fire protection system upgrades, modifications, repairs, and expansion projects in active semiconductor fabrication facilities.
Review fire protection drawings, specs, submittals, calculations, and related docs.
Evaluate proposed modifications for code compliance and project objectives.
Coordinate system testing, inspections, and acceptance with contractors and City of Phoenix.
Assist in preparing proposals, budgets, schedules, and project documentation.
Communicate technical information to stakeholders and participate in project meetings.
