Job summary

Johnson Controls, a leader in thermal management and building systems, is seeking an assembler for CO2/Inergen systems for the Marinette facility. The role involves assembling components per detailed blueprints, setting up heavy equipment, and performing rigorous pressure and leak testing. A strong emphasis on quality, safety, and documentation is required.

Work on second shift with OT as needed. Experience with bridges, torque tools, and a forklift license is beneficial, and the role includes

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and have a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand simple math and interpret blueprints for sub-assemblies/final assembly.
• Experience with hand and power tools and comfortable working with tolerances and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of electronics and blueprints for complex assemblies and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of CO2/Inergen system components following blueprints and prints.
• Operate and set up Bridgeport boring machine and other equipment as required.
• Perform tests including leak tests, pressure testing up to 6000 psi, and functional checks.
• Maintain 100% inspection records and government paperwork as required.
• Move parts and perform duties on second shift as needed.
