Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a CO2/Inergen Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, assemble cylinders, valves, actuators and related components, and use a Bridgeport bore machine and various hand tools to ensure precise assemblies.

This role involves lifting and testing components, with attention to quality and safety. On the 2nd shift, you will conduct 6000 psi pressure tests, verify tolerances, document results, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret prints/blueprints.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Valid Tyco forklift license.
• Ability to operate Bridgeport boring machine.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assembles CO2/Inergen system components per prints and BOMs.
• Operates fill and test equipment, including cylinders and valves, up to 6000 psi.
• Drills nozzles and fixtures on Bridgeport machines per blueprints.
• Performs 100% inspections and records using required forms.
• Moves materials with forklift and maintains safety standards.
• Keeps government paperwork and inspection records up to date.
