Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead, CNC Machine Operator II to guide the machining department and a team of CNC operators in producing parts and products. The role emphasizes scheduling, process improvements, and collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Programming, and Set-up teams.

The position requires advanced machining skills, teamwork, and strong communication to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Regular on-site work and potential overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• 1-year certificate from college, technical school, or equivalent and/or 5-8 years of Machine Operator III experience.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Advanced machining skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment, share information, respect and assist other team members.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Analyze work orders to estimate workers' hours and create machining schedules.
• Review planning dispatch reports and prioritize schedule to meet customer deadlines.
• Plan the flow of materials through the department and develop the physical layout of machines.
• Lead department training when integrating new parts, equipment, or team members.
• Regular on-site attendance/punctuality is a necessary function of this position.
