Job summary

C/A Design, Inc. in Exeter, NH is seeking a CNC Supervisor to oversee daily machining and finishing operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure on-time delivery of high-precision parts.

The role requires leadership of CNC machinists and finishing staff, and collaboration with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to deliver quality parts. You will lead daily management, monitor KPIs, and advance safety, quality, and efficiency in a lean manufacturing environment within Heico

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing and/or engineering leadership experience.
• Previous supervisory experience with direct reports.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and structured problem-solving.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and improve production performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily machining and finishing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Coordinate production priorities, staffing, overtime, and material flow with Planning and support teams.
• Monitor job status, delivery commitments, labor efficiency, and machine utilization.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, manufacturing, and 5S standards.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve production and equipment issues.
• Lead daily management meetings and track key performance metrics.
• Drive Lean initiatives, problem-solving, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise, coach, and develop CNC machinists, finishing technicians, and other assigned employees.
• Manage payroll approvals, employee time off, performance goals, and annual evaluations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, employee engagement, and company values.
