The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Senior CNC Setup Machinist for its Greater Green Bay, WI area. This direct-hire role focuses on independent setup of HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers, with controller-level G-code edits and first-article inspections.

You will mentor junior operators, collaborate on DFM reviews with engineering, and contribute to a climate-controlled facility with a modern machine fleet. Eligibility requires US citizenship or a Green Card and daily commuting capability.

Formación

• 3+ years of independent CNC setup on HMC/VMC mills or multi-axis lathes with G-code editing.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or medical device machining preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card due to ITAR; commutable to Greater Green Bay, WI.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex, independent machine setups on CNC HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers.
• Edit G-code at the controller and optimize tool paths for tight tolerances.
• Perform first-article inspections with precision instruments and document results.
• Collaborate with engineering on DFM and lean initiatives.
• Mentor and train junior operators on floor setups and best practices.
• Support production flow to minimize bottlenecks and improve throughput.
