Job summary

ADDMAN Engineering in Glen Burnie, MD seeks a senior CNC programmer to plan and program our full machine shop including 2-3 axis mills, lathe/mill-turn, and 3+2 indexed multi-axis mills using Mastercam 2025. This is hands-on; you'll convert prints to verified NC code and assist others with complex setups.

You will read GD&T, plan setups, select tooling and feeds, verify with simulations, and produce setup sheets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Hands-on Mastercam experience (2025 or recent versions).
• Program 2-3 axis mill work and lathe/mill-turn work.
• Program 3+2 multiaxis work with proper strategy and offsets.
• Read prints including GD&T and perform toolpath decisions.

Responsibilities

• Program parts in Mastercam 2025 for 2-3 axis mills, lathe/mill-turn, and 3+2 multi-axis work.
• Read and interpret engineering prints including GD&T and translate to toolpaths and workholding.
• Plan setups and sequencing for multiple setups; manage sub-spindle transfers and multi-plane orientations.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds based on material and operation.
• Verify programs via simulations before production release; catch collisions.
