Job summary

Addman Engineering is seeking a senior CNC programmer to plan and program parts across the shop, handling 2- to 3-axis mills, mill-turn lathes, and 3+2 multi-axis work using Mastercam 2025. This hands-on role requires turning prints into verified NC code and serving as the go-to expert for complex setups.

You will read GD&T-heavy prints, select tooling and speeds, simulate programs, and develop setup sheets for smooth production and first-article runs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Mastercam experience (2025 or recent).
• Ability to read GD&T on engineering prints.

Responsibilities

• Program parts in Mastercam 2025 across mills and lathe/mill-turn.
• Read engineering prints and implement GD&T callouts.
• Plan workholding and multi-setup sequencing.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds appropriate to material.
• Verify programs with simulations before production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot post processors and posted-code issues.
• Produce setup sheets and documentation for operators.
• Support first-article runs and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cycle times and improve repeatability.
