Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Huntington Beach, CA. You will read blueprints and CAD models, select cutting approaches, and optimize tooling in collaboration with Engineering and Machinist staff.

This role requires working with MasterCam 2022 and Haas multi-axis machinery. Responsibilities include writing and editing programs, ensuring conformance to drawings, and maintaining traceability through archived files.

Qualifications

• MasterCam programming experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/CAD data.
• AS9100 GD&T experience is a plus.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Program milling machines using MasterCam 2022 and verify toolpaths.
• Design fixtures and jaws; interface with shop floor operators.
• Read engineering drawings and customer blueprints for metal and composites.
• Edit legacy programs and verify changes; ensure traceability.
• Troubleshoot tooling and production non-conformances; overtime may be required.
