Job summary

PI (Physik Instrumente), LP in Shrewsbury, MA, is seeking a CNC Programmer for a full-time, Monday–Friday role from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position requires programming, setting up, and operating Haas machines to produce precision components per engineering specs.

You will interpret drawings, perform in-process and final inspections, and optimize programs using Mastercam. Strong GD&T knowledge and experience with tight tolerances are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining and Mastercam programming experience.
• Apprentice or technical schooling in precision machining.
• Experience with HAAS equipment (VF, ST, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture parts to tight tolerances.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections and final checks using precision measuring tools.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software and verify toolpaths.
