Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in Mastercam programming software.
• Extensive knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam to drive efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing processes.
• Use precision measurement tools to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications.
• Perform complex programming tasks, including 5-axis milling and multi-axis turning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret and implement blueprints and CAD designs.
• Monitor and adjust programs as necessary to ensure quality control and minimize waste.
• Train and mentor junior staff in CNC programming and machine operation.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve our processes and capabilities.
