Karman Space & Defense is seeking a CNC Programmer to join our Mukilteo, WA team. The role develops, implements, and supports machining processes for advanced precision components on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.

You will interpret engineering drawings, design machining strategies, program complex toolpaths with Mastercam, and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor. You will collaborate with machinists, engineering and quality teams to improve manufacturability and product quality, mentor others,

Competenze

• Five or more years of hands-on Mastercam programming experience.
• Strong ability to read prints and GD&T to ensure part conformity.
• Ability to read and interpret CMM reports and validate data.
• Capability to diagnose and resolve machining issues directly on the shop floor.
• Experience working with machinists, engineers and quality teams.

Mansioni

• Develops and programs machining processes for complex components using Mastercam.
• Designs machining strategies and fixtures for three-, four-, and five-axis CNC machines.
• Owns projects from concept through production release and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoots machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor.
• Mentors machinists, operators, and other programmers.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to CAM workflows.
