Karman Space and Defense is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, implement, and support machining processes for precision components on three- to five-axis CNC machines in West Valley City, UT. You will interpret engineering drawings, design strategies, and program complex toolpaths to ensure manufacturability and on-time production.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of Mastercam programming experience.
• Solid GD&T reading and interpretation.
• Ability to read CMM reports and verify data with traditional measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops and programs machining processes for complex components using Mastercam.
• Designs machining strategies and fixtures for three-, four-, and five-axis CNC machines.
• Owns projects from concept through production release and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoots machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor.
• Supports and improves legacy part programs and existing production processes.
• Interprets CMM reports and inspection results with Quality.
