Job summary

Karman Space & Defense is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our Mukilteo facility. You will develop and program machining processes for precision components on multi-axis CNC machines, collaborating with machinists, engineers, and QA to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role requires 5+ years Mastercam programming, strong GD&T and print-reading skills, and on-floor troubleshooting. We offer a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling, materials, and machining.
• Five or more years of hands-on Mastercam programming experience.
• Ability to read prints and GD&T; interpret CMM reports.
• Able to diagnose shop-floor machining issues on site.

Responsibilities

• Develops and programs machining processes for complex components using Mastercam.
• Designs machining strategies and fixtures for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Owns projects from concept through production release and support.
• Troubleshoots machining, tooling, and quality issues on the shop floor.
• Supports legacy programs and improves production processes.
• Interprets CMM reports and dimensional data with Quality.
• Uses precision tools to validate setups and corrections.
• Provides feedback to engineering and customers on manufacturability.
• Mentors machinists and other programmers on best practices.
• Supports continuous CAM workflow improvements.
