Job summary

Venus Aerospace is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to own high-precision manufacturing of complex hardware on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines in a fast-moving R&D environment. You will work closely with engineering to influence manufacturing strategy and elevate shop standards in quality, safety, and performance.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience, control familiarity with Fanuc/HAAS/Okuma, and strong CATIA/DELMIA (Mastercam a plus) skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC programming experience with 5-axis Mills or Lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc, HAAS, and Okuma controls.
• Proficiency with CATIA (DELMIA); Mastercam is a plus.
• Ability to read GD&T and use metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Program and support high-precision, quick-turn projects and small-batch production.
• Plan, program, set up, and prove out parts on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis NC machines.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve quality at the machine.
• Develop processes to maintain manufacturing excellence.
