Advantage Technical is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a high-precision CNC machining and precision manufacturing environment in Beverly, MA. You will lead daily operations, guide production teams, and drive improvements in efficiency, safety, and cost control.

The role requires deep CNC and lean manufacturing expertise, with a track record of achieving safety, quality, and delivery targets while mentoring a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or similar environment.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership overseeing production personnel or multiple work centers.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, setups, workflows, and process optimization.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations in a high-precision CNC environment, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Oversee machinists, operators, Team Leads, and production support personnel to maintain efficient shop floor operations.
• Manage production schedules, capacity, staffing, and resource allocation to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Identify bottlenecks, reduce lead times, improve throughput, and maximize equipment utilization.
• Collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardized work practices.
• Lead KPI monitoring and action plans for on-time delivery and productivity.
