Job summary

ARCH Global Precision in Sonora, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist to produce machined parts by operating CNC mills and lathes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role requires prior machining experience and adherence to procedures.

You will interpret GD&T, set tool offsets, measure parts, document production logs, and participate in preventive maintenance. Swing shift schedule: Mon–Fri 3:00–11:30pm, with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining experience preferred.
• Experience interpreting GD&T.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and math skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate mills and lathes by following work instructions.
• Adjust tool offsets and compensations.
• Load stock and set up machines safely.
• Measure parts and verify against specifications.
• Maintain production logs and data entries.
• Detect malfunctions and address issues.
• Keep the workspace organized and clean.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
